We are a Village
where refugee families learn, grow, and belong

Since 2010, Legacy Mission Village has partnered with legally resettled refugee families in the Nashville area to support learning, stability, and community connection as families build new lives in the U.S.

Who we are

Founded by refugees for refugees, Legacy Mission Village is a faith-based Middle Tennessee nonprofit built on relationship, trust, and dignity. Here, everyone financial partners, volunteers, staff, and students is part of the Village, learning from and supporting one another in a process of mutual transformation.

Our founders William and Ebralie — survivors of the Rwandan genocide — now dedicate their lives to helping families like theirs build new lives in the United States.

It takes a Village

Whether you want to support our families, learn alongside them, or explore our programs, there’s a place for you here.

Volunteer

Volunteers are a vital part of life at Legacy Mission Village. You can support students, assist in classes, or help behind the scenes — and if you’d like, you can start with a visit or a one-time opportunity to see if it’s a good fit.

Donate

Financial support helps sustain the relationships and programs that make Legacy Mission Village possible. When you give, you're joining a community that walks with families over time and grows together along the way.
